Privacy Policy for LaterNotes: Idea Tracker

LaterNotes: Idea Tracker helps you capture ideas, notes, and reminders for later review. This privacy policy explains what information the app stores and what information may be collected to help improve the app.

Information You Create in the App

LaterNotes stores the ideas and notes you enter into the app. This content is stored on your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled through Apple system settings, may sync through your private iCloud account.

The developer does not have direct access to the ideas or notes you save in LaterNotes.

Analytics and Diagnostics

LaterNotes may collect limited analytics and diagnostic information to understand how the app is used, improve features, and fix bugs. This may include app version, device type, operating system version, screens or features used, general interaction events, crash reports, error logs, and performance information.

LaterNotes uses PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error monitoring and diagnostics. These services may process analytics and diagnostic data on behalf of the developer.

LaterNotes does not use analytics or diagnostics to collect the content of your ideas, notes, or exported files.

Notifications

If you enable weekly review reminders, LaterNotes uses Apple notification features to schedule reminders on your device. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Exporting Ideas

If you choose to export or share your ideas, the exported content is handled by the destination you select in the iOS share sheet.

Data Sharing

LaterNotes does not sell your personal data. LaterNotes does not use your data for third-party advertising.

Data may be processed by service providers used to operate, improve, and troubleshoot the app, including PostHog and Sentry.

Tracking

LaterNotes does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or data broker purposes.

Data Deletion

You can delete ideas inside the app. You can also remove app data by deleting the app from your device. If your data is synced through iCloud, iCloud data is managed through your Apple account and iCloud settings.
